Luke picked up the drums at 17 as a result of listening to a fairly heavy sound from bands such as Pantera, Metallica and Slayer. Now, at 22 years of age, his influences have evolved into more of a pop / punk rock flavour, mainly listening to bands like Blink 182, Grinspoon, Rage Against The Machine, Foo Fighters, Deftones and Limp Bizkit. A.K.A is Luke's first experience with a band and one that he hopes will carry on for many years to come. His ambitions are to continue to learn more about the art of drumming and to go as far as possible with A.K.A.
